Gold Dusted Chocolate Gryphon
This is made of dark Belgian chocolate and edible ‘gold’ dust. If you know me, you’ll know my first love is metalwork. My favorite medium to work in has always been metal. Especially lost wax cast bronze and cast precious metals. So I really enjoyed putting a ‘patina’ on this. It really makes me want to work in metal again!

We’re expanding our horizons, so to speak, and will be offering other items besides bakeware, such as decorative soaps, stoneware cookie molds and ceramic items (all are designed and sculpted by me, of course.)
So I thought you may be interested in the design process. Here’s a sneak peek of an upcoming design in the works.
This is the original sculpt in the works for a ceramic Gryphon Treasure Box
It’s destined to be the cover of a ceramic treasure box. I still need to do a bit of fine-tuning, and of course the mold making. And I’m still deciding what color glazes to use. Let me know what you think!
